Hi Rajesh, Great news about checking in the ARC implementation of our codecs. The instructions for checking in source code are well documented here: Helix <https://helixcommunity.org/developers/contribute_to_helix> Community Policies Helix Community Patch <https://common.helixcommunity.org/2005/patch/> Submission and Code Review Process Please review them and try checking in the source using process described in the latter URL If you have any problem email us at [email protected] and the right people can help you. Best regards and thank you, Scott _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rajesh Varshani Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2007 10:20 AM To: [email protected] Cc: Misha Korman; Andrew Kulikov Subject: [Open-licensing] ARC ports of RV7, RV8,9,10 decoders Hello, We are about to complete a project involving the porting of RV7, RV8/9/10 decoders onto our ARCVideo platform. We intend to have this work completed on Friday 16th Nov. I am trying to work out the process/procedures we need to follow in order to successfully submit our ported code back to Helix. I am hoping you can give us a clear list of items we must (track/carry out/form filling) in order to complete code submission. We would also like some guidance on how long it would take for the code to be made available to 3rd parties from the date of submission. At this stage, I have no idea how we should go about submitting our code. I've surfed the Helix web-pages, and come across the patch submittal program, but it doesn't seem appropriate for what we want to submit. Our submission is a complete new port for a new platform (as opposed to a small patch to fix a particular defect). Any help/guidance you can give would be much appreciated.
