It seems that your poor Zen Sleek has been delivered with MTP 
"PlaysForSure" firmware. This means, in the Linux world, that it sure 
won't play. :-(

I will perhaps try to list the MTP device IDs and react to them with 
warnings now...

I would simply grab libptp2 source code and start hacking. I don't think
it's hard to get this to work actually. Its bascially just PTP with some
extra commands on top.
