I have found and fixed quite a few bugs - I'll release the fixes this weekend. I think quite a bit of time needs to be spent writing a decent interface to the library. In particular, thought needs to be given on how to manage the filesystem structure reasonably transparently, to put tracks, playlists & data files in the correct places. Also an error logging system such as in libnjb needs to be written. I doubt I'll have time to do this in the near future though so if anyone wants to then please go ahead. Also how should the new library (which I think will have to fork from libptp) be released? Make a new project libmtp on sourceforge? It would be nice to test it on other devices such as the iriver t10. I've just posted on the ifp-driver list to let them know what we're doing.
