Actually, well, Creative have made some moves to "sort of" support us. As 
we have assumed, they are actually not unwilling to help, just that 
finding the right guy in their organization and establishing a 
communication link with him/her is a real pain.

Thing is: they DON'T dislike us, but doesn't necessary view us as very 
important either. Money talks, Linux is not where the money is, however 
MacOS may be and that was our opening to their attention.

But since then, not much has happened...
