Re: Permission problem

I'm not trying to knock libjnb at all, b/c I think it's one the best libs
ever, but I've honestly never gotten the new udev rules to work (Mandriva
'06). The directions in the install file are somewhat obscure and there's
very little elsewhere to lend assistance. 

I've tried using the nomad.rules file that comes with libnjb, but it's as if
doesn't even see it all when I plug in my nomad jukebox III. Tried adding
the file, editing the file, chmoding the file; still, nothing changes and
the permissions error persists.

In the end, it's just easier to sudo gnomad2. 

Just thought I'd let you know since the topic came up. If I ever it get it
working, I'll write up something a little more detailed.
