I am currently working on DirectShow support for the MKV files and
subtitles.
Are you aware of any popular DirectShow demultiplexers that have support for
subtitles in MKV?
I am looking for anything that could be considered an existing standard for
media type and sample format.
For instance, WebVTT samples are stored with additional information. I am
curious how a popular demultiplexer might be packaging this sample in
DirectShow.
I can easily create my own media type and sample format with what I am
doing. However, I would prefer to support whatever has started carving
itself a way to becoming a standard.
Any help would be appreciated.
