Hello,

I am working on a project related to an open source dance game (StepMania).=
I have some licensed music, and one of the requirements is that the files=
not be distributed in an easy-to-access manner (basically, DRM).

I'm considering using Matroska as a basis for this project, and was wonderi=
ng if anyone had comments on the idea or suggestions for the best way to do=
 the integration with the specification.

The data I'm trying to represent is relatively simple. In-game songs are p=
ackaged into a folder containing the audio, a background video, and the ste=
p chart (metadata). These are put into parent folders to organize. They l=
ook something like this:

Pack_A/
              Song_A/
                           Song_A.aac
                           Song_A.mp4
                           Song_A.sm
              Song_B/
                           Song_B.aac
                           Song_B.mp4
                           Song_B.sm
Pack_B/
              Song_A/
                           ...

I'm considering having each "Song" be it's own Track, and the packs each th=
eir own segment. The step data would be attached to the track. A control =
track would be used to contain the rest of the information for licensing (E=
ncryption Metadata). ContentEncodings would be used to provide decryption =
information for the tracks themselves.

If there was a way to make any of what I'm working on useful to the Matrosk=
a team, I'd be glad to contribute code.

Kate Gray
