Virtualdub (official) - ALPHA DirectShow plugin, including MKV reading ability

Avery Lee, the creator and main programmer on Virtualdub, has launched 
the first alpha version of a DirectShow plugin for his well known video 
editor programm. He is obviously still fighting with the 'specials' of 
DirectShow, but obviously making his way. What a pitty that his nice app 
will probably never be able to output MKV files - at least no advanced 
files - because of the well known limitation of Video for Windows, on 
which Virtualdub is mainly based on.
