reminds me of a problem we had: we were trying to stream from a boat to
shore via wireless networking [ffserver on the boat streaming over http
and xine-lib based client on a shore], the connection was a bit
'unstable' - now and then it would disappear for, say, 1 sec and the
video stream would stagnate for 20 sec or more ;( the reason: wrong
protocols and too much buffers, but nevertheless one would expect the
system to recover better, no?
