I don't really believe that having @spreadopenmedia.org address would make
any difference... and you already said that people have established
emails...

People that see @spreedopenmedia.org address maybe think is "cool" but not
necessarily will automatically get interested in the project. I'm not sure
if is the right way to "attract" potential adopters, but this is just my
opinion.
