Hi,
I am involved in the voip project at www.openh323.org
As part of my work there, I have added H261 video to the project.
It now does video grabbing/transmission/reception/ etc,
all cross platform.
Currently, the voip is done with the h323 protocol. Work is underway
to get the sip protocol implemented.
I heard of the tarkin project, and wondered, can anyone tell me
(online or offline) what the status is?
How ready is your code for deployment in a real application ?
What sort of compression figures do you get -
in comparison with H263/H261 ?
Sorry for asking these questions here, but I did not see the answer
elsewhere.
Derek.
