Why not have different preset combinations of filters (pre-processors), then? This way, people who want to encode cell-based images (cartoons/animation) can get a better encode (other users would also get better encodes, but to a higher price of CPU-quality, I think). This might reduce the ammount of post-processing a user has to do when later viewing the clip... Of course there should also be settings that allowed minimal or no preprocessing in my opinion. > sounds good to me, but it would probably lengthen the encoding process > quite > a bit.
