Excellent, thanks for introducing yourself. I've been looking forward to 
the operative details of the vp3 project and am glad you'll be

I understand there licence change on the current source is scheduled for 
July 4th.
Are you able confirm that? I'm also looking forward to reading the 
patent grant.

Glad to hear you'll be working on documentation. Having someone familiar 
with the code working on that will make things much easier. The lack of 
spec has been a sore spot with vorbis, but with vp3 we have the benefit 
of a 'finished' design to start from, modulo extracting it from the code.

By way of counter introduction, I spent quite some time thinking about 
video integration as part of my research on metadata formats a year or 
two ago, and look forward to participating in the actual integration. I 
also did a lot of design work on a subtitle/lyric format and mng 
(http://www.libpng.org/pub/mng/) for graphic overlays on the video, but 
I never wrote any actual code. I'm quite excited by the vp3 release and 
interested in picking up that work again as well.
