The theora master branch now contain every change I currently plan to include in the 1.2.0 release, except the last minute changes documented in <URL: https://gitlab.xiph.org/xiph/theora/-/merge_requests/41 >. I do not expect to find time to get <URL: https://gitlab.xiph.org/xiph/theora/-/merge_requests/36 > into a good enough state to include it in 1.2.0, so I'll just leave the player_example code unable to handle modern sound systems unless someone else find time to fix it. There is a handful of issues reported on <URL: https://gitlab.xiph.org/xiph/theora/-/issues >, but there is nothing there I believe I will be able to address in the time available the coming week. I will try to find time to review any new merge requests that show up before next weekend, but hope those with more knowledge can chime in as well if more patches appear. The complete set of changes since beta1 can be viewed on <URL: https://gitlab.xiph.org/xiph/theora/-/compare/v1.2.0beta1...master?from_project_id=21 >. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
