It's as good of a choice as using MPEG2 or H.264 is, or any other
inter-frame encoded spec.  I wonder what the hardware requirements for
encoding to Dirac Pro realtime are?  This actually happened for the 2008
Summer Olympics in Beijing, but I don't know the details of that.
