What about this: 1*1 = 1 One stream, the actual specification. 2*2 = 4 Four streams, unconected, unrelated, each representing one cuarter of the screen, each procesed in a diferent thread, each thread procesed in a diferent CPU. 4*4 = 16 Sixteen streams, unconected, unrelated, each representing 1/16 of the screen, each procesed in a diferent thread, each thread procesed in a diferent CPU. No subscreen dependencies at all. Ready for farming. within a PC or among several PC's If among several PC's just: "theoratools blend vstream1.ogv vstream2.ogv vstream3.ogv vstream4.ogv" after farming the conversion. This is easy to send among 4 monitors too. [email protected] _______________________________________________ theora mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xiph.org/mailman/listinfo/theora
