Hello David,

Glad to see that you are still arround.  Last time we spoke you were
experimenting with using ViewStations across the Internet (as opposed to
direct IP links).

I'm curious to get your take on what works well and what does not. I
realize that this is a subjective question and that it depends on both the
gear and on the Internet, but I'd like to get your take.

Hello to ALL:
I am not sure who I am answering here, but the prices on on the H.323, long
lived Polycom units have stabilized to a point that is well above where
they
had settled about half a year ago.  There was some scare that when the
H.264
standard was about to be introduced, this would plummet the market on the
machines that can not accomplish the processing of the H.264 algorithm,
mostly H.323 Viewstations.  Well, the prices went down and then came back
up.  Seems lots of folks still want those Viewstation H.323 systems.
They
have had an AMAZING life!   DAVID
