so, I fixed these 3 examples from audio examples

If you can, please try and test all examples a bit more as I did a major
revision on them for this release and I fear that other issues might have
slipped as well.

As for the synth in 'stuff', from the version you mentioned, I can't even
use it and play it, but I rewrote it and I see that I am using the same
synth patch, but inside clone now, and I also fixed other things so it
would play. Anyway, that is a rather obscure example I'd say. I still don't
know what we should do with those, if we should add more and new
interesting/useful examples or get rid of some of them.
