usually the binaries provided by miller *are* the ones built (and signed 
& notarized) on our CI.

for reasons yet unknown¹, the CI job failed this time while trying to 
codesign the binaries.
so i'm not exactly sure what the macOS download contains.

in anycase, it appears to be codesigned (but i'm currently afk, and 
cannot check the actual signature)
