Re: Shouldn't pd64 be distributed as default Pd?

First we'd have to recompile and upload all existing externals. Then we 
have to check if they all actually work correctly! (Some external 
authors were a bit sloppy and just used 'float' instead of 't_float'.)

BTW, did anyone to any benchmarks? Double precision floats take up twice 
as much register space as single precision floats, which affects 
vectorization. For example, a 256-bit AVX register can hold 8 floats, 
but only 4 doubles.

I'm not against double-precision Pd per se, but it's not a trivial change!
