I have found that the HTTP handling in xmms 1.2.7 leaves something to be desired. I found through a forum post by T. Nilsson http://forum.xmms.org/cgi-bin/sporum/comments.cgi?op=threadlist&sid=suggestions&cid=3297 that the http code is going to be reworked. Is anyone working on this? If not, I'm willing to do it. If I can find a forum for developer discussion, I would like to discuss related architecture details. Which brings me to the next question... Is there any active public location for xmms development? The forums seem to be user centric and this mailing list sees very little traffic. Is the development community so small that coordination remains private? Offering help, but I'm not sure where to do it.
