Josh Coalson (FLAC developer) has already done some work on something like this: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?act=ST&f=20&t=4646 The standard is there, but it isn't yet supported by the FLAC plugins for XMMS and Winamp. I don't know if there is encoder front-end support for it yet. -- Jon
