Feature request: command line --info option

I'm not subscribed to this mailing list, but i don't know where to send 
this feature request.
I use a lot the remote options from command line in xmms (to control my 
desktop playing music from my notebook).
I thought a nice thing would be adding a -i --info command line option 
that simply prints on our STDOUT the name and time and running time of 
the song played.
I tried traveling through the source code but i'm a too inexperienced C 
programmer.
Thanks again for the great work you're doing on XMMS.
