In that case, just grant access to the servermachine (the one running xmms) to connect to your machine: diskless-client $ xhost +server-ip-address xmms-server-machine $ export DISPLAY=ip-address-of-diskless-client:0 ; xmms This is untested so it may not be entirely correct, but you get the picture.. -- Isak Savo <iso01001 (at) student.mdh.se>
