Seek in http stream?

Greeting oh great developers of the mighty xmms.

I've noticed that xmms is unable to seek in a http mp3 stream.

Winamp however will do this. Not in live streams of course, but
is "pseudo streams" like those generated by an Apache::MP3 system [1]

I realize that you can't actually seek in a stream. I guess what
winamp does is to make a new http request a another position. But you
guys would probably know more about this magic.

Anyway. Are there any plans of implementing this in xmms?
