how to control xmms

hi,

i m looking for a way to control a session of xmms with a different
user that the one who launched it

let s say a user A starts xmms and play his music
the comes user B, but A has gone

how can B access the A's xmms to stop it or change the music ?

i m looking for a way to do that, through a network or not
