Pausing, Unpausing

Hi,

I just compiled xmms 1.2.10, works great...but
problem:
after pausing the unpausing doesn't continue the song. I've to stop and 
"replay" the song.

what's wrong?
(using alsa-1.0.1-9 (suse9.0 rpm))
