I am no developer and I forget why I even continue to remain on this list :-) But I can second this statement as a user. Many times I have made changes to a running xmms - be it play list or other options - and log out of KDE with xmms still up and playing. KDE saves my workspace state where xmms and other apps will appear as I left them. Except, xmms most often has forgotten changes I made unless I had explicitly saved or restarted the app. (and a new function called save_playlist() which would act on $LAST_SAVED_PLS at a specified interval would truly rule!! - I know, learn how to code and write it! Or is this exactly what the current patch is attempting to do? Don't know, I'm a bit lost.... :-) Not a gripe, I love xmms. I've tried other media systems but none compare to it. Great work and keep up the improvements!! -- Derek Schaible <[email protected]> CSSI, Inc. _______________________________________________ xmms-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xmms.org/mailman/listinfo/xmms-devel
