UTF-8 encoded id3 Tags are correctly displayed, latin1 encoded are missing the german umlauts :-( But I found a workaround that even works with the Debian version of xmms (1.2.10-1.4): I disabled fontsets and set the fond back to iso8859, now I can see german umlauts in latin1 encoded id3tags even if xmms is started in utf-8 locale. This is not perfect, but I do not need to look for a new player :-) Andreas -- You will engage in a profitable business activity.
