1.2.10 xmms and artsd on debian SID

Hi all,

Pleas reply (also) directly to my address.  I was not able to subscribe to the 
list for some strange reason.

When I use crossfade plugin on top of the arts output plugin, sound plays but 
sometimes skips, the time display as well as the equalizer display is jerkey.

When using alsa plugin on the same crossfade I have no such problem

What could be wrong >
