The fix is simple. Just open up mpg123.c, hey, at least your change now made it into the CVS after months of inactivity on the file (look at cvsweb). I posted a patch that removed IPv4 specific connect code and fixed the general code such that all IPs in a hostname were tried before giving up, well, sent it in and the patch never made it into the CVS... Also, if you look on histories in CVS, you'll see one or two changes to a file every few months and nothing in between... I would say upstream is quite inactive. - Adam
