Relative paths in playlists?

Hello everyone,

just joined the list, cos I need your help. I havent found anything
about htat anywhere else, so you´re the ones ;-)

I´d like to listen to the same playlists on my windows and on my linux
machine, which works if the are done with relative paths in them. All
the playlists are in the directory /MP3s, and all the files are in
there to, so relative paths from that directory on are working.

If I open a playlist with relative paths in XMMS, the tracks are
played correctly, so XMMS knows how to handle relative paths.

But how do I save a playlist with relative paths?
And can I change the directory containing the default playlist, which
is now in .xmms/xmms.m3u? Linking it to the /MP3s directory produces
errors, cos then all paths are stored relative to the linked directory
in my home.

Any hints?

Thanks in advance,
OJ

something, please dont hesitate to correct me.
