media library

Hi,
I want to be able to selectively enqueue files in XMMS from a database
of all my mp3 files (basically a media library) by searching through
it. Something simliar to win amp's media library. I googled, but could
only find a media library plugin (with not too many features) which
doesn' t compile.

Is this feature already implemented (or being implemented) in XMMS? or
is there a plugin which does this? If not, I wish to write a plugin
myself.

Any suggestions/help will be greatly appreciated.
