It took me a while to figure out how to fix it, but here it is: Open XMMS by itself. Go to Options>Preferences (or just press Ctrl+P) Where it says Output Plugin, it should say ALSA 1.2.xx Now, click on it and change it to : eSound Output Plugin. (Remember to click on Apply before you try to play music.) That worked for me. If that doesnt work, try messing around with the output drivers. I hope this helps.
