Isn't that what "jump to song" is all about? Just tap J with
XMMS in focus, then enter a substring. AmaroK, for a change,
makes  such  a feature integrated with the playlist. I  look
forward  to  XMMS  2!  I still use XMMS  because  AmaroK  is
bloated (much like iTunes).
