Type info Title UNO Remote Bridge: Default for oneway support changed Posted by [email protected] Affected ,bridges, jurt Effective from 680 cws onewaydefaul Summary default for oneway support in the URP bridges changed from 'on' to 'off' Description In remote API usage scenarios, where one side of the bridge is the Office, oneway calls are often the cause for deadlocks in the Office process. These deadlocks can easily be 'fixed' by turning the oneway support in the bridge off. This should have no bad side effects. Therefore and due to the fact that currently nobody really needs asynchronous call execution, the default for oneway support in the URP bridges now is 'off'. The old behavior can be achieved by providing protocol properties with the respective connection strings at both sides of the bridge (Negotiate=0,ForceSynchronous=0).
