http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49991 --- Comment #51 from [email protected] 2011-07-29 13:45:55 --- Created an attachment (id=76734) --> (http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=76734) ODT file with embedded SVG created and saved by Abiword. Abiword opens it and displays it fine, and even keeps the SVG as vector in Export to PDF. OpenOffice does not show the embedded SVG Final comment for today :) Tried Abiword since comment #3 mentioned it can handle inserted SVGs. It is indeed able to embed SVGs (no link option) and it properly renders them as vectors when exporting to PDF (of course, Abiword is otherwise missing a number of critical features of OpenOffice such as captions, bibliography, etc etc). Incidentally, Abiword also can save a .odt file with embedded SVG and read it back in. Opening that .odt in OpenOffice gives a "Read error" message inside a placeholder box where the SVG should be. Attached is the .odt file. -- Configure bugmail: http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Bugzilla.
