        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: OOo's 'update link' not at sync.
    Classification: Application
           Product: Spreadsheet
           Version: version58
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P3
         Component: open-import
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
         QAContact: [email protected]

The 'insert link to external data....' feature already has a bug which makes
all instances openoffice hang while it updates.

I've discovered a new bug which magnifies this problem to make OOo calc
unusable until a restart

If updates are made automatic, overtime, the syncs to the external data are not
at sync, i.e. when you open the spread sheet, initially all links are updates
in x second at once, but over time for many links this time interval changes
from x to +/- x, as a consequence calc is updating some links or the other all
the time. Thus within a period of an hour or so, I get only a few seconds of
interactive UI.
