A better solution might be one of the following:
1) A full bookmarks menu, such as that found in a web browser. In my opinion
this would be overkill, though.
2) View -> Bookmarks -> A list of all the bookmarks and an item "Add bookmark
here".
3) A toolbar button with a list of all the bookmarks and an item "Add bookmark
here".
4) Something else
