When I select F5 or View Slideshow in Open Office, the screen appears black and
blank.  If I drag the mouse around the screen, bit by bit the slide and its
contents will begin to appear.  It’s like scratching off the gray stuff on a
ticket to see the message underneath.  

I'm not sure about which version I have, but it says 3.3.0 Win_x86_
