Just having gone through this, I fully agree with the original poster of this
bug: Get rid of the mandatory registration.

I found a document that would crash OOo on open, and I thought it could be of
help to you to have this document for further investigation.  Having to go
through this registration almost made me change my mind.  And I am quite
certain I will not bother the next time I find a possible bug.

Problems
* Takes time
* Reveals my email address (Getting another email address for this purpose is
possible, yes, but would cost me still more time.)
* Enters me as a member of something I have no interest of being a member of. 
(Yes, OOo is doing a wonderful job, and I appreciate you much, but I simply do
not have the capacity for this in addition.)
