        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: OO fonts not fully installed on MAc OSX
    Classification: Application
           Product: Installation
           Version: OOo 3.3
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P3
         Component: ui
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]
         QAContact: [email protected]

Additional fonts provided by OO are not visible to applications outside of OO,
e.g. Textedit, jEdit. On a pc these are globally available.

On a PC after installing OO, I can use "DejaVu Sans Mono" in other applications
like jEdit and WordPad. These are visible in C:/windows/fonts.

After installing OpenOffice on my Mac - OSX 10.7 (Lion) - font "DejaVu Sans
Mono" is available inside OO apps but not outside, e.g. in jEdit, Textbook and
Font Book.
I can see the OO font directory using Terminal.app at
/Applications/OpenOffice.org.app/Contents/basis-link/share/fonts/truetype
but these fonts are not in /Library/Fonts.

It appears that the Mac-OSX "Font Book" application cannot add these fonts as
it uses a "Finder"-like access to files/folders which does not allow you to
delve into an "App".
