Considering the Filter Dialog Project

Hi,

I wanted to inquire about the possibility of taking on the filter dialog 
project. I am going to have to think about the level of commitment I can 
contribute. I certainly won't be able to give a month block of dedicated 
time, although I don't suspect you expect this. To be honest, I am not 
even sure I will have the time, but I thought I would start a 
conversation anyway, as I would like to contribute to OOo in a 
meaningful way as a developer, and this particular project is near and 
dear to my heart. I have some clear ideas about this, and think I would 
deliver a rock solid solution that was well structured, and poised for 
future extensions.

What is the process if I were to consider committing to this?
