recover queries

Hello

On an old PC running Suse 7.2 and openoffice1.1.a I can't anymore open
the queries of a mysql database (with ODBC driver), every time I
intend to do so OO crashes. It seems impossible to install a more
recent version of OO, so I would like to know whether it is possible
to recover these queries in any form. I think these queries are stored
in 
$prefix/user/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office

Could I just copy that directory and try to use it on a different PC
with  1.1.4 OO installed.
