Re: Find and Replace fails in an OO.o Base form

But I have taken my OO.o copy from OO.o sources directly. So how can I
assist you to find out?

I have found and followed this menu hierarchy.

I have found also this further level of menu hierarchy and selected it.
The 'Tasten'/'keys' field is empty by default.

In the 'Tastenkombinationen'/'shortcuts' field I selected 'Control+F'
and pressed the button 'Ändern'/'Apply(?)'.
If I move the cursor now into my form field 'Definition' and press Ctrl
+F, the 'Datensatz-Suche'/'Find Record' dialog will appear as expected
and function all right.  The form field 'Definition' is of
'Feldtyp'/'type' Memo [LONGVARCHAR].

But if I move the cursor now into my other form fields which are of type
Text [VARCHAR] and press Ctrl+F, the 'Datensatz-Suche'/'Find Record'
dialog will not appear as expected and function all right.  Rather it
still inserts a small letter 'f' into the field.
Why does OO.o Base behave differently in these two similar field types?
