The consequence is that the update path is broken. But I think it's OK when going from beta to final. ;-) Best regards Marcus Reizinger Zoltán wrote: > Hi Frank, > > I tried to install it with extension manager as update, and not find it. > > Later recognized that the beta and final version have different names. > After that I installed, beta and final version remained on my OOo, later > beta removed. > > I suggest beta testers first remove beta version and after install final. > Thanks, > Zoltan > > Frank Schoenheit, Sun Microsystems Germany írta: >> Hi, >> >> The MySQL Connector for OpenOffice.org, formerly known as Sun MySQL >> Connector, formerly known as ... ehm, I don't remember ..., has been >> released in version 1.0. >> >> You might want to visit >> >> http://blogs.sun.com/GullFOSS >> for the detailed announcement (but hey, you already saw this blog >> posting, right?) >> >> http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/mysql_connector >> for the direct download >> >> http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Database/Drivers/MySQL_Native/1.0 >> >> for a little Getting Started guide >> >> >> I want to thank the MySQL side of our team for their work - we tried >> hard to break their underlying Connector/C(++), but if we really managed >> to, they quickly came back with a fix.
