Re: Trouble Importing from spreadsheet

I am sorry I was not clearer.

1. I have a derby database.

2. I have a spreadsheet with more data. This was created by exporting the
blank table into a spreadsheet using Openoffice and filling it with rows of
data. Of course the first column, (primary key/UUID) is empty right now in
the spreadsheet.

3. I tried pasting the calc spreadsheet data into the base database by
pasting the table and got the errors.

4. I will post screengrabs once I get home.

Thanks for your help so far.

ps. I even tried to use a derby sql code to do it, but again  it could not
append rows becasue I did not know what code to use to insert UUid's for the
first column.
