VARBINARY-BINARY-LONVARBINARY fiedl type use

Hy Base user,
i started recently using Base for my database query and reporting.
I need a solution to insert some kind of file direct into BASE field. 
After some search on internet i delive the right solution for this is 
using this kind of field.
I created some table with this filed tipe but when i try to create the 
insert form this kind of field doesn't appear, someone can help me?
Do you think it's better to insert le file name in the database field 
instead of file?
It's possible to create field type link as in Access ?
