True there is a possible project but that is for SQLite embedded in 
place of HSQL or ala the MySQl or Postgress native drivers with a 
separate SQLite data file.

You can use SQLite now however, always could - it is just an ODBC / JDBC 
data source you just need to find the right dirvers.

And that is the problem, I know - cause not all drivers are created equal.
