Rudi , Normaly we are the first (Belgium with Dutch and French) to have problems as you discribed. We have no problem with French chars using the MySQL native driver. I think you must have a look at your mySQL database/server/tables and find out if UTF8 is used as char set. Greetz Fernand > Hi, > I currently switched from MySQL/ODBC to MySQL/native.
